6-Year-Old Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Leawood in Houston

6-Year-Old Killed in SW Houston Pedestrian Accident on Leawood at Elmcroft Drive

Houston, Texas (October 4, 2022) – A 6-year-old was fatally hit by a vehicle Saturday evening in southwest Houston, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 6:19 p.m., October 1, in the 9700 block of Leawood at Elmcroft Drive.

Officials said the child was struck by a white SUV.

The child was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

No further details were available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
