3 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 in Wood County

3 Suffers Minor Injuries in Wood County Car Accident on Interstate 10 at Hawkins
Wood County, Texas (February 9, 2019) – Three people were injured Friday night in a traffic collision in Wood County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The wreck happened at around 7:04 p.m. Friday, February 8 on Interstate 10 at Hawkins.
Authorities said four to five vehicles were possibly involved in the collision and three people sustained minor injuries.
It was immediately unclear if the patients were treated at the scene or were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
Interstate 10 east was shut down following the crash. Motorists were urged to use the Airway Exit 25.
Traffic was backed up to Paisano and it was unknown when Interstate 10 will be reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
