Jarvis Hughes Airlifted after Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 103 in Lufkin

Jarvis Hughes, 3 Injured in Highway 103 Accident in Lufkin

Lufkin, Texas (April 13, 2023) – A Lufkin man and three other people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday evening in Lufkin, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened at about 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, on State Highway 103 West.

DPS said several vehicles, including a pickup, were involved in the crash. The pickup caught fire after the impact.

Hughes was airlifted to a Tyler hospital in an unknown condition. His passenger was transported to Woodland Heights Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

Two other patients were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
