Bruno Cunha Killed in Tyler Motorcycle Crash on Loop 323 and University Boulevard
Tyler, Texas (November 2, 2019) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday morning in Tyler, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash occurred around 7:36 a.m. November 1, in the area of Loop 323 and University Boulevard.
Authorities said a 2007 Honda Odyssey was heading eastbound on Loop 323 in the left turn lane when it turned left onto Santa Elena Drive.
Bruno Cunha, 28, was riding a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Loop 323 when he entered the intersection and hit the Honda.
Cunha was taken to U.T. Health Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was from Brazil and was attending the University of Texas at Tyler as a student.
An investigation is ongoing.
