24-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on Galveston Road

Houston, Texas (April 8, 2023) – A 24-year-old man was killed Thursday morning in a motorcycle crash in Houston, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 8:55 a.m., April 6, in the 5300 block of Galveston Road.

DPS said a silver Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading northbound while a white Ford F59 delivery van was traveling southbound.

The Ford attempted to make a U-turn and the motorcycle slid into the back right side of the van.

The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, was taken to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where he later died.

The Ford driver, a 47-year-old man, remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired.

The police are investigating the crash.
