One Killed in Smith County Motorcycle Crash on State Highway 155 South and County Road 196

Smith County, Texas (September 9, 2023) – According to the Texas DPS, one person was killed Friday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Smith County.

The fatal crash happened on September 8, on State Highway 155 South and County Road 196.

DPS said a car and a motorcycle were involved in the crash.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
