Johnny Gonzales Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on Spur 327 

Lubbock, Texas (September 3, 2020) – One person was injured in a pedestrian accident Wednesday morning in Southwest Lubbock, according to police.

The accident occurred just before 8:00 a.m., September 2, in the 5700 block of Spur 327. 

Police said 20-year-old Johnny Gonzales was running southbound when he was hit by a westbound Cadillac Escalade.

Gonzales was taken to CMC with life-threatening injuries.

The Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
