Juan Orellana Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Beechnut Street

Houston, Texas (April 6, 2021) – The man who was killed in February in a hit-and-run crash in Houston has been identified as Juan Orellana, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:50 p.m., on February 12, in the 9900 block of Beechnut Street.

Police said Orellana was walking across the street when he was struck by an eastbound gray, or possibly silver, four-door pickup truck.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Orellana was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

The authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that will lead to the identification, charging, and/or arrest of the suspect.
