Kristopher Bokelman Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on FM-149 in Grimes County

Kristopher Bokelman ID’d as Man Killed in Grimes County Crash on FM-149

Grimes County, Texas (October 6, 2023) – The Department of Public Safety has identified the man who died following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday night in Grimes County as Kristopher Bokelman of Montgomery.

The deadly crash happened at around 8:55 p.m. Thursday on FM-149.

DPS said a 2004 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on FM-149 when it collided with a 2017 Camry that was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes.

Bokelman, who was the driver of the 2017 Toyota, was taken to St. Joseph Health Grimes Hospital in Navasota, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the 2004 Toyota, 65-year-old Randolph Craddock of Freeport, was taken to the same hospital with serious injuries.

DPS is investigating the crash.
