Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on Fannin Street in Houston

One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Fannin Street at Palm Street

Houston, Texas (January 28, 2023) – A pedestrian was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:55 p.m., January 20, in the 5000 block of Fannin Street at Palm Street.

Police said the male pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle in the parking lot on the corner of the intersection.

The vehicle dragged the victim onto the street and ran over him. 

The driver fled the scene after the accident.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information on the wanted vehicle or driver is urged to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
