Malachi Frausto Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on FM 54 in Littlefield

Littlefield ISD Senior Malachi Frausto ID’d as Victim In Fatal Littlefield Crash on FM 54

Littlefield, Texas (September 29, 2022) – Littlefield ISD senior Malachi Frausto has been identified as the 17-year-old student who died Wednesday morning in a traffic collision in Littlefield, Lamb County.

The deadly crash took place on FM 54 on Wednesday, September 28.

Authorities said Frausto was driving his Silverado westbound on FM 54 when, for an unknown reason, he allowed the vehicle to drift into the opposite lane and hit the rear wheels and the front portion of the trailer that was being pulled by a semi-truck heading eastbound.

Frausto died in the accident.

The driver of the semi did not suffer any injuries.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
