Miguel Panto Carrillo Injured in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Alameda Street at Harris
El Paso, Texas (October 19, 2019) – The man who was injured in a pedestrian accident Thursday morning in El Paso has been identified as Miguel Panto Carrillo, 73, according to the police.
The accident happened on Thursday, October 17, on Alameda Street at Harris.
Police said Carrillo was crossing Alameda Street with a green light when he was hit by a 2017 Ford F150 truck, belonging to the City of El Paso, which was turning from Harris to Alameda Street.
Carrillo was taken to Del Sol Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers said the Ford driver, Jaime Jacquez, 29, failed to yield the right of way to pedestrians at the crosswalk.
The accident remains under investigation.
