Man Struck, Killed by Multiple Vehicles on I-45 in Southeast Houston

Man Killed in Southeast Houston Pedestrian Accident on Gulf Freeway 

Houston, Texas (December 23, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by several vehicles Saturday night in southeast Houston, according to the officials.

The deadly accident took place around 11:50 p.m. on December 21, in the 5700 block of Gulf Freeway.

Police said the man jumped at an underpass on the freeway and attempted to cross the northbound portion of the freeway. He was then hit by several vehicles at the HOV lane.

The man was killed in the crash.

One of the involved drivers stopped after the crash, and several others returned to the scene.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
