Man Killed in Arlington Construction Accident on North Collins Boulevard

Arlington, Texas (August 22, 2020) – A man was killed Thursday afternoon in a construction accident in Arlington, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened at about 2:00 p.m., August 20, in the 4000 block of North Collins Boulevard.

Police said a construction supervisor was training a co-worker on how to operate a piece of machinery when at some point, the mechanical controls caused the bucket to strike the construction supervisor.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
