Stetson Don Hoskins Killed in Waco Pedestrian Accident on Highway 6

Waco, Texas (January 14, 2020) – The man who was fatally hit by an 18-wheeler Friday afternoon in Waco has been identified as Stetson Don Hoskins,24, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 3:00 p.m. January 10, on Highway 6 near Highway 84.

Police said Hoskins was believed to be in a mental crisis and he deliberately stepped in front of an oncoming 18-wheeler and was hit.

Hoskins was declared dead at the scene.

The accident closed Highway 6 southbound near Highway 84. Traffic was diverted onto the access road. The highway was reopened around 5:20 p.m.

An investigation is underway.
