Man Dies in Fatal San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Culebra Road and Northwest 38th Street

San Antonio, Texas (September 2, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle late Saturday evening at an intersection in San Antonio, according to officials.

The fatal pedestrian accident happened on Culebra Road and Northwest 38th Street Saturday,  August 31st.

Authorities said the pedestrian, a man in his 60’s, was walking across the street when he was hit by a vehicle.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the injured victim lying in the roadway unresponsive. The paramedics performed CPR on the victim. Despite an aggressive resuscitative effort, his death was pronounced.

The driver involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement officers.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
