2 Injured in Ambulance Crash on I-10 near FM 725 in Seguin

Two Hospitalized after Seguin Ambulance Crash on I-10 near FM 725

Seguin, Texas (June 2, 2019) – Two people were hurt in a collision between an ambulance and an 18-wheeler on Wednesday afternoon in Seguin, according to a police report.

The wreck happened at about 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, on the ramp of FM 725 to I-10.

According to the report, a Superior Care Ambulance ran out of gas and the driver parked it along the side to get gas. Another van parked nearby had a flat tire.

An oncoming semi truck then tried to avoid the van and ended up crashing into the stopped ambulance.

A patient and a medic who were in the rear of the ambulance were injured. The two victims were transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are investigating the incident.
