Man Killed in Northwest Harris County Pedestrian Accident on FM 529

Harris County, Texas (May 13, 2020) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in northwest Harris County, according to deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 3:42 a.m. May 12, in the 14000 block of FM 529.

Deputies said the man might have been leaving a corner store and was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

Investigators said the driver was not impaired at the time of the accident.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the crash.
