Daniel Orr, Mark Magsanay Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on US 84 in Hockley County

Daniel Orr and Mark Magsanay Killed in Hockley County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 84

Hockley County, Texas (December 9, 2021) – Two people were killed Tuesday night in a wrong-way crash in Hockley County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:20 p.m., December 7, west of Anton.

DPS said a vehicle was traveling eastbound in the inside westbound lanes of the highway when it crashed into a westbound vehicle.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as Daniel Dwain Orr, 63, of Lubbock, and Mark Magsanay, 53, of Lubbock. They were both wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
