Man Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35

Austin, Texas (September 27, 2021) – According to the police, a man was killed Sunday night in a pedestrian accident in Austin.

The deadly accident happened just after 11:00 p.m., September 26, in the 12200 block of Interstate 35 near Parmer Lane.

Police said the man was walking on the interstate when he was struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

The accident closed the main lanes of the interstate for several hours.

The police are investigating the accident.
