Man Killed, 2 Injured in Crash on South Freeway in Houston

Man Killed and Two Injured in Houston Crash on South Freeway

Houston, Texas (December 6, 2023) – A man was killed and two others were injured Monday afternoon in a crash in Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 1:15 p.m., December 4, in the 6800 block of the South Freeway (State Highway 288 South).

Police said a 22-year-old man was driving a silver Honda Civic northbound when he struck a white Chevrolet Express.

Two other men, a 42-year-old and a 32-year-old, were standing outside of the Chevrolet and were also hit by the Honda.

The Honda driver was taken to Memorial Hermann -Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The two bystanders were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
