Sebastian Leith Killed in Beaumont Two-Vehicle Crash on Phelan Boulevard

Beaumont, Texas (August 13, 2023) – A man was killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Beaumont, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:46 a.m., August 12, in the 4700 block of Phelan Boulevard near Calder Avenue.

Police said Sebastian C. Leith, 39, of Beaumont, was driving a 2016 Acura MDX westbound when his car was struck by a gold SUV that was making a left turn onto Calder Avenue.

The Acura flipped several times, ejecting Leith. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
