Man Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on West San Antonio Street in San Marcos

23-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in San Marcos Hit-and-Run Crash on West San Antonio Street

San Marcos, Texas (October 15, 2019) – A 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning in San Marcos, a local news source reported.

The accident happened around 2:15 a.m. October 13, at the downtown square near the intersection of West San Antonio and North Guadalupe streets.

According to the police, a witness said the man was crossing West San Antonio Street when he was hit by an eastbound white sedan.

The sedan fled the scene heading northbound down the alley behind the bar Nephews. It then turned westbound on West Hopkins Street.

Police responded and found the man lying in the street unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
