Two Seriously Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on North Freeway

Houston, Texas (November 7, 2019) – Two drivers were seriously injured early Thursday morning in a wrong-way crash in Houston, according to the police.

The crash occurred around 4:00 a.m. on the North Freeway northbound frontage road near the Beltway 8 overpass.

Police said a female was driving a truck on the wrong way when she collided with a small red sedan.

The sedan driver was trapped in his car and had to be extricated. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The truck driver was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Officers said they suspected she was intoxicated.

The crash remains under investigation.
