Man Struck, Killed by Car at Nacogdoches Road and Salado Cliffs Drive in San Antonio

Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at Nacogdoches Road and Salado Cliffs Drive

San Antonio, Texas (August 4, 2020) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in the Northeast Side of San Antonio, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around midnight, at the intersection of Nacogdoches Road and Salado Cliffs Drive, near Johnson Park.

Police said the man was passed out and was lying in the middle of Nacogdoches Road when he was struck by a vehicle. It was dark, and the victim was wearing black clothing.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The involved driver left the scene. Investigators said it is likely the driver might not have known that they had hit someone.

The authorities are looking for the driver.
