Marvin Guelker ID’d as Victim Killed in Abilene Crash on Farm to Market Road 89

Abilene, Texas (August 29, 2019) – The authorities have identified the person who was killed Wednesday afternoon in a rear-end accident in Abilene.

Marvin Guelker, 89, died in the wreck that occurred just before 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, August 27 on Farm to Market Road 89.

According to a police report, Guelker was driving down the roadway when for an unknown reason, his vehicle was rear-ended by a car driven by Sabrina Kirk, 52.

Guelker suffered major injuries and was taken to Abilene Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Kirk was transported to Abilene Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. She was treated at the hospital and released.

No other information was given regarding the incident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
