Dallas, Texas – The person who was killed Monday evening in a train crash that left four other people injured in Dallas has been identified as 67-year-old Michael Kelly, according to the Dallas County medical examiner.

The fatal crash happened just before 7:00 p.m., April 22, on the Metropolitan Avenue grade crossing.

Officials said Kelly was driving a vehicle when she went around the crossing gate, which was down, and struck a southbound Green Line train. The warning lights were flashing at the time of the crash.

Kelly was taken to Baylor University Medical Center where she later died.

Four people on the train were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
