12-Year-Old Boy Injured in Converse Pedestrian Accident at FM 78 and Seguin Road

Converse, Texas (October 18, 2019) – A 12-year-old boy was hit by a car Thursday morning in Converse near Judson Middle School, according to a local news release.

The accident occurred on Thursday, October 17, at the intersection of FM 78 and Seguin Road.

Police said the boy was in a crosswalk, walking to school when he was hit by a car at the intersection.

The child was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The involved driver was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, and for no insurance.

An investigation is ongoing.
