Midland Man Killed in Crash on FM 1788 in Midland

Man Dies in Midland Car Accident on FM 1788

Midland, Texas November 19, 2023) – A man was killed in a crash in Midland on Friday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The incident happened on FM 1788 nearly one mile south of Interstate 20 on Friday, November 17.

Authorities said the Midland man was driving a Ford van when he failed to control his speed and slammed into the back of a GMC Sierra flatbed driven by a 42-year-old McCamey man.

The van driver was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The other motorist was not injured in the collision.

The crash is under investigation.
