One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Spring Valley Road near Clay Road

Houston, Texas (October 25, 2020) – A person was killed in a pedestrian accident Thursday afternoon in Houston, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 4:25 p.m., October 22, at 4200 Spring Valley Road near Clay Road.

Police said a silver Volkswagen Atlas was traveling westbound in the 9600 block of Clay Road when it turned left onto southbound Spring Valley Road and struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway.

The victim was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The Volkswagen driver remained at the scene after the accident and was not impaired at the time of the accident.

An investigation is underway.
