50-Year-Old Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run on Bandera Road in San Antonio

 50-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on Bandera Road

San Antonio, Texas (November 26, 2023) – A 50-year-old female bicyclist was injured Friday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m., November 24, near the 400 block of Bandera Road.

Police said the woman was riding her bicycle when a dark-colored vehicle struck her, throwing her off the bike.

The vehicle fled the scene after the crash.

The woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The bicycle did not have the proper lighting on a dimly lit street.

The police are investigating the crash.
