Austin, Texas (July 19, 2023) – The motorcyclist who was killed Saturday afternoon in a crash in Austin has been identified as Denis Joe Watkins, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 12:15 p.m., July 15, in the 4900 block of FM 2222 Road.

Police said the crash involved a motorcycle and a vehicle.

The motorcyclist, Watkins, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The SUV driver remained at the scene, was not impaired, and cooperated with the investigators.
