1 Killed in 18-Wheeler Crash on Hwy 114 in Grapevine

One Killed in Grapevine Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 114

Grapevine, Texas (December 31, 2020) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Grapevine, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 9:30 p.m., December 29, on Highway 114.

Police said a Nissan Rogue rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the highway. The Nissan became lodged underneath the trailer.

The Nissan driver was trapped in the vehicle and was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The 18-wheeler driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed Highway 114 westbound at Main Street for six hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
