Man Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run on I-69 Eastex Freeway in Harris County

Harris County, Texas – A man was seriously injured Tuesday night in a hit-and-run accident in Harris County, according to the Harris County sheriff’s deputies.

The accident was reported around 11:40 p.m., April 23, on the southbound I-69 Eastex Freeway feeder road near Hopper Road.

Deputies said they found the man in the roadway after he had been run over by a vehicle. 

The man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The involved driver fled the scene after the accident.

Further details were not available.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
