1 Injured in Navasota TxDOT Truck Crash on Highway 6 near FM 2

Navasota, Texas (January 9, 2020) – One person was injured in a rear-end crash involving a TxDOT blocking truck Monday afternoon in Navasota, according to a local news release.

The accident took place around 1:30 p.m. on January 6, on Highway 6, north of FM 2.

Authorities said a car was heading northbound on the highway when it rear-ended a Texas Department of Texas work convey truck.

The driver of the car was treated and released at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
