Woman Killed in Dallas Car Crash on Interstate 20 near Spur 408

Dallas, Texas (September 23, 2019) – A woman was killed in a traffic collision Sunday night in Dallas, according to the authorities.

The collision occurred around 11:45 p.m. September 22, in the westbound lanes of I-20 near Spur 408.

Authorities said a pickup truck with a travel trailer attached was stalled on the side of the highway when the woman left the traffic lanes and crashed into the back of the trailer.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people in the pickup were uninjured in the crash.

The westbound lanes of the highway were closed following the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
