45-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Crash on Northwest Freeway in Houston

45-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Northwest Freeway at 34th Street

Houston, Texas (November 29, 2022) – A 45-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 3:05 p.m., November 23, in the 11194 block of Northwest Freeway (U.S. Highway 290) service road at West 34th Street.

Police said a black Jeep Renegade was traveling eastbound on West 34th Street when it struck a white Ford Explorer that was traveling northbound on the service road. 

The Jeep then struck a light pole at the intersection. Debris from the crash struck a gold Ford F-150 pickup truck.

A passenger in the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Both drivers and a passenger in the Explorer were taken to local hospitals in unknown conditions.

The police are investigating the crash.
