Eric Font Killed in Midland Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 20

Midland, Texas (September 1, 2021) – According to the police, a man was hit and killed by a vehicle Tuesday night in Midland.

The deadly accident happened around 9:30 p.m., on August 31, in the southbound service road of the 1300 block of E Interstate 20.

Police said 33-year-old Eric Font, of Jasper, was walking along the roadway when he was struck by a grey 2017 Chevy Silverado.

Font was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Silverado driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

The Midland police are investigating the crash.
