35-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run on Montana in El Paso

35-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Central El Paso Motorcycle Accident on Montana at Rosewood

El Paso, Texas (January 15, 2023) – A 35-year-old man was seriously injured last month in a hit-and-run accident in Central El Paso, according to officials.

The accident happened around 2:18 a.m., December 18, at the intersection of Rosewood and Montana.

Officials said the man was riding a red Yamaha motorcycle westbound in the 2600 block of Montana while another man was driving a pickup truck southbound on Rosewood.

The pickup truck driver entered the intersection in front of the motorcyclist, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The truck fled the scene after the crash. It was described as a black Chevrolet Silverado crew cab.

Authorities are looking for the truck. Part of the truck’s front passenger fender was damaged in the crash and is missing. The driver is said to be a Hispanic male in his 30s with black hair combed back and was wearing a flannel shirt at the time of the crash. His passenger was a female with an older appearance, long black hair, and was wearing a long white coat.

The crash remains under investigation.
