84-Year-Old Florida Man Killed in Houston Car Crash on East Freeway

Houston, Texas (April 12, 2023) – An 84-year-old Florida man was killed Tuesday morning in a car crash in Houston, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 4:30 a.m., April 11, in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 (East Freeway) at Thompson.

Authorities said the man had stopped his vehicle in one of the lanes and had no lights on when he was struck.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
