One Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Zarzamora Street

San Antonio, Texas – A person was killed Friday evening after being struck by a vehicle in San Antonio, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:00 p.m., December 22, in the 2700 block of S. Zarzamora Street.

Police said the person was wearing dark clothing and was crossing the street in a non-designated crossing area when they were struck by a silver Jeep.

The Jeep driver stopped and called 911.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

Additional information was not available.

The police are investigating the crash.
