Man Killed in Austin Motorcycle Crash on West Oltorf Street near South Fifth Street

Austin, Texas (February 6, 2019) – A man was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident involving two other vehicles in Austin on Wednesday morning, according to the Austin Police Department.
The crash was reported at about 7:02 a.m. on West Oltorf Street near South Fifth Street.
Police said a Mini Cooper that was traveling westbound on Oltorf Street lost control and collided with an eastbound motorcyclist.
The rider, identified as a man in his 20s, was also hit by a second vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of both vehicles that hit the rider remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
Austin police are investigating the crash.
