Motorcyclist Hospitalized after T-Bone Crash on Perrin Beitel Road in San Antonio

Rider Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Accident on Perrin Beitel Road near Thousand Oaks Drive

San Antonio, Texas (April 16, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle early Friday morning in San Antonio, according to San Antonio police.

The crash occurred at around 2:40 a.m. on April 15 in the 11800 block of Perrin Beitel Road, just south of Thousand Oaks Drive.

Police said two motorcycles were speeding on Perrin Beitel Road when a Chevrolet Suburban pulled out from a parking lot. One of the motorcycles struck the Suburban on its side.

The rider was thrown off the bike upon the impact and sustained a road rash and a gash on his head. He was transported to University Hospital in stable condition.

No further details regarding the crash were immediately available.

The accident remains under investigation.
