4 Hospitalized after Major Head-On Crash near Laredo International Airport

Four Injured in Laredo Car Accident near Laredo International Airport
Laredo, Texas (February 19, 2019) – Four people were hospitalized Tuesday morning after a head-on collision in Laredo, authorities said.
The wreck occurred near the Laredo International Airport and involved three vehicles.
Details on how the collision happened were not immediately available.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to a man in his 20s who was unresponsive and bleeding from the head. He was then taken to Laredo Medical Center in critical condition.
Authorities said a woman in her 30s complained of chest pain and was also transported to the hospital.
According to the authorities, a mother and child who were in a third car involved in the collision were taken to Doctors Hospital. Both were not in distress.
Both vehicles sustained major frontal damage.
Loop 20 North was shut down off from East Saunders Street. An investigation into the crash is underway.
