Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on I-35E in Dallas

One Injured in Dallas Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 35E near South Marsalis Avenue

Dallas, Texas (May 19, 2021) – According to the authorities, a motorcyclist was injured Monday night in a traffic collision involving a tractor-trailer in Dallas.

The accident was reported around 7:40 p.m., May 17, on Interstate 35E near South Marsalis Avenue.

Authorities said the crash involved a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle.

The truck caught fire after the collision while the motorcycle became stuck beneath the trailer, and the rider was ejected.

The rider was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The tractor-trailer driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of the interstate, backing up traffic for more than a mile.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
