Seven Injured in Smith County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 31 at County Road 24

Smith County, Texas (June 9, 2023) – Seven people were injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Smith County, according to officials.

The crash happened on June 8, at the intersection of County Road 24 and Highway 31, east of Tyler.

Officials said a vehicle made a U-turn on Highway 31 and collided with another vehicle.

Seven people sustained injuries in the crash.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
