Man Struck, Critically Injured by Car on Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio

Man Critically Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Fredericksburg Road near Bluemel Road

San Antonio, Texas (August 29, 2019) – A man in his 60s was injured Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident occurred just before 9:00 p.m. August 28, on Fredericksburg Road near Bluemel Road.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit by a car.

The involved driver stopped after the accident.

The victim was taken to University Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, including severe head trauma.

An investigation is underway.
