One Killed and One Critically Injured in New Caney Car Crash on FM-1485 near Lake Houston Wilderness Park
New Caney, Texas (March 31, 2019) – One person was killed, and another was critically injured early Sunday morning in a fiery head-on crash in New Caney, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash occurred just after 3:00 a.m. on FM-1485 by Lake Houston Wilderness Park.
DPS said two vehicles collided head-on and one of them burst into flames and landed in a nearby ditch.
One person was killed in the collision.
One of the drivers was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No further details were provided.
The DPS is investigating the crash.
