Candace Barr Killed in Coleman Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 84

Coleman, Texas (April 8, 2021) – According to a local news source, a woman was killed and two other people were injured Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash in Coleman.

The fatal crash occurred around 11:30 p.m., April 6, on Highway 84 Bypass at North Colorado.

According to the report, a Toyota 4Runner and a Ford F-250 were involved in the crash. Both vehicles came to rest on the northbound side of the highway after the crash.

The Toyota driver, 53-year-old Candace Barr of Abilene, was taken to the Coleman County Medical Center where she later died. Her passenger was airlifted to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.

The Ford driver was taken to the Coleman County Medical Center and was later transferred to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.

No further details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
