1 Killed, 1 Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on Hwy 287 in Moore County

One Killed and One Injured in Moore County Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 287 at FM 297

Moore County, Texas (January 5, 2023) – One person was killed, and another was injured on Wednesday in a semi-truck crash in Moore County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash happened on January 4, in the area of FM 297 and Hwy 287.

DPS said a semi-truck ran a stop sign at the intersection and was t-boned by another semi-truck.

Both drivers were taken to Moore County Hospital in Dumas, where one of them later died. 

The crash remains under investigation.
